Custom-Built Wire Dipole Antennas – Made and Tested in New Zealand
At The Ham Shack, we have over 40 years of experience in installing and building HF Amateur Radio systems, and we bring that expertise to every wire dipole antenna we craft. Designed and tested specifically for New Zealand conditions, our antennas offer unbeatable performance for both home use and field operations.
Our dipoles are constructed using premium 24×0.2mm stranded wire (18/19 AWG), which provides excellent conductivity and flexibility. The wire is finished with durable green PVC insulation, making it weather-resistant and perfect for long-term outdoor use. Each antenna is finished with heat shrink at the key connection points for added protection and reliability.
We have just launched Version 2 and they are made and ready to purchase.
Purchase the base DL40 Version 2 which covers 40m - 20m, - 15m - 10m
Then, if required purchase the 60m and 80m add-on's. They are "Plug and Play so SWR is pre-set and all you need to do is plug them in.
We also fabricate a Single Band 40m Dipole Antenna with or without a balun.
