I picked up the new Alinco Radio from the Ham Shack after having issues with my existing setup. Greg helped me out with his installer option as well and had the radio up and running and installed in no time. The quality of the radio is incredible with a great commercial / industrial feel to it. It feels like quality and I managed to get a good 40km on simplex back to the Ham Shack when driving home, and that was via hills and motorways.
Greg did the SWR checks on the radio and made sure it was putting out a good signal and showed me the results. The SWR was around 1:1 and the feedback on the audio reports has been great. I purchased the USB cable for programming but so far the hand programming has worked well, they menu is intuitive and easy to use. Im super excited about the new radio and if anyone is thinking about getting one the service was 10/10 or 5 stars.
