Pre-Assembled Dipole Upgrade for Heavy Duty Spiderbeam 3- or 5-Band Yagi (Balun Not Included)

 

Enhance your Heavy Duty Spiderbeam Yagi with this pre-assembled dipole upgrade, designed for easy installation and improved band coverage. Perfect for existing 3- or 5-band Spiderbeam Yagis (excluding the special WARC versions), this dipole mounts offset by 90° to your current wire elements for optimal performance.

 

Features & Benefits:

  • Extends boom length with two 30mm diameter fiberglass segments, increasing turning radius from 5m to 6m

  • Dipole ends capacitively loaded via thin wires connected to lateral spreaders for stable tuning

  • Built with premium materials including Wireman CQ-532 copperweld wire, UV-resistant polyethylene insulators, and heat-shrink tubing

  • Includes plastic spool for convenient winding during transport

  • Compatible with existing Spiderbeam balun and feedline or separate feedline/balun for flexible configurations

 


What’s Included:

 

  • 2 fiberglass extension segments (Heavy Duty Yagi version)

  • Plastic cable spool (20 cm diameter)

  • 2 stainless steel hose clamps

  • Pre-assembled dipole with copperweld wire, enamel copper wire, coil forms, insulators, solder lugs, and monofil line

 


Important Notes:

 

  • Balun is NOT included and must be ordered separately if a 2-balun setup is desired

  • Not compatible with WARC Spiderbeam Yagis

  • Single balun usage maintains forward gain and front-back ratio but reduces front-to-side ratio on 15m
